NABA provides many programs and benefits to aspiring
African-American students interested in accounting, finance or related career
professions. Benefits of student membership include access to scholarship
opportunities, skills development workshops, networking with key hiring
professionals and sponors, and discounts on various NABA events.
Student Members are entitled to significant discounts
on national convention registration fees. National student programs and
events are centered around the Student Conference and include:
- Student Workshops - career-enhancing workshops
designed to prepare students for the work environment.
- Case Study Competition - case study competition
where the student teams demonstrate their knowledge of accounting
issues.
- Career Fair & Expo - dozens of companies
share and highlight the careers, products or services that their organization
offers to students and professionals.
